The Village
Kampong karonsih owns its name to a Karonsih dance which tells the love story between Galuh daughter Candra Kirana or Dyah Sekartadji with Panji Asamara Bangunantara Galuh . Karonsih it self means love duet.Once you reach here you will be greet and welcome with kompang, bunga manggar and fresh coconut drinks.This village was the winner of Malaysia most beautiful village. You will enjoy staying here with all the activities and surroundings of this village. With warm welcome and hospitality of the villagers you will feel that you are at your own places and very hard to say good bye.
The majority of the Javanese people are Muslim.They initially came from Java Indonesia, but migrated to Malaya to seek occupation at 70 century .The main occupation are farmers, fishermen and manufacturers handcraft.Total population is 250.Many youth have migrated to cities for education but still returned to devote.
